This section documents experiments and projects that try to make my photography less reliant on chemicals, non biodegradable or hazardous materials. These are presented as a work in progress along with notes and thoughts on process. Areas of concern include understanding the trouble with photographic practices, and thinking with plants to find modes of harm reduction. Experimenting with plant based photo developers broadened into an understanding of image making as a multispecies collaboration.
35mm film photography is experimented with using seasonal plants of abundance within my environment, often with site specific uses matching material to subject.
